We are seeking experienced, focused, energetic teachers who understand the needs of emerging adolescence.

You must have a strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum, visible learning, culturally responsive

and relational pedagogy and PB4L. The ability to develop positive relationships with students and design

rich, authentic learning experiences would be an advantage. We are a large, ethnically diverse intermediate

Teacher Aide Vacancy 

Blockhouse Bay Intermediate is on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.   • Successful Police Vetting: A clean police record is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.
  • Right to Work in NZ: Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
